Response to the brief

The brief states that I am required to produce 15 minutes of original compositions for use in an awards ceremony. The music will therefore need to be appropriate, entertaining as well as not being too distracting or preventing guests from having conversations. I initially chose to compose in the house genre since it was what I was most comfortable with, however I later decided that I would adopt a minimalist electronica style as I found it better suited the environment, wasn't too intense and provided an entertaining, yet calming demeanor.
